RingSpotters was created to share, inspire, and educate people in search of beautiful rings. Born in February of 2010, RingSpotters started out as a maternity leave pet project. Since then, it has grown into a full time passion for its jewelry obsessed creators. We are neither jewelers nor gemologists, simply two sisters and mothers with a love for jewelry, weddings, and blogs.
Our mission at RingSpotters is to inspire our readers – to provide guidance for those looking to create and learn and to affect excitement for those looking share or simply observe. Have a question? Rosanna Casper is a veteran of the digital space having worked in interactive advertising for the past eight years. The idea for RingSpotters was born after years of blatantly staring at other girls’ engagement rings on the Chicago city buses and trains. Now a permanent resident of California, Rosanna is a proud mother of a beautiful baby girl.
Vanessa Maffia comes from an education background having spent the past nine years teaching 2nd grade and working in the field of educational technology. Channeling her enthusiasm for social networking, writing, and beautiful things via RingSpotters, Vanessa oversees the content and design of the site. When not working on RingSpotters, Vanessa is a devoted mother of a precocious and adorable baby girl.
