Today’s ring comes from a recently engaged bride-to-be who sent us photos of her gorgeous custom engagement ring. It’s no secret that we love cushion cuts, and paired with a double halo, split shank, and small diamond accents, this ring is stunning. We can’t stop looking at it.
Carat: Just over 2
Setting: Double halo encrusted with an array of small diamonds, split shank
I’ve been posting a lot about oval shaped rings (my current obsession), and could not be more excited about this engagement ring that comes from college sweethearts, Hannah and Zach. He proposed in the quad of their college campus where they first met with this beyond stunning 2.1 carat oval shaped cushion cut ring by designer Henri Daussi. Well done Zach, well done.
Today’s ring comes from Tara at Haute Lunch who recently got engaged and sent us photos of her gorgeous custom engagement ring. We love the unique design, the detailing and the way that she incorporated her mom’s diamonds into the ring.

Today’s beauty belongs to a Santa Barbara native who will be celebrating her wedding in June of 2011. She fell in love with the setting at a jewelry store in Santa Barbara (same place her mom’s ring is from – so cool!) and her fiance picked out the fabulous cushion cut center diamond. “I loved the ring because it was very different from any other ring I had seen. We had been looking for awhile.”
Cut: Cushion
Setting: Halo setting with triple band with a total of 126 diamonds
An Engagement Story: “It was a beautiful night in SF in April, we had champagne on our roof deck, and then headed to our favorite neighborhood restaurant. When we arrived, the entire staff knew what was about to happen and were standing in a line greeting us as we came in. It was really cute, but I was still clueless. We sat in the private room with our favorite server. We went ate dinner, paid, and I got up to use the restroom. When I came back, I thought we were leaving, so I put on my jacket, but Andrew asked me to sit down and take off my jacket. Then he got down on one knee and proposed! He had planned for all of our friends to meet us out to celebrate! It was the best night!!”
This gorgeous solitaire belongs to a bride who will be celebrating her wedding this November in Dubai. The Novo setting boasts a fabulous cushion cut set on a band of very small round brilliant diamonds in a shared setting (the tiny prongs give it that very unique delicate look). Its classic, its timeless, its Tiffany’s.
