I’m still obsessed with the rings that Jennifer Lopez wears on American Idol. She wore this fancy yellow diamond ring set in 18k yellow gold and ebony wood ring from Cora International on the show recently which made the headlines. They say its worth over $2m. Wow.

I have a feeling I’ll be reporting something on Brad and Angelina on a weekly basis. Their journey to the altar is strangely fascinating.
The latest from the Brangelina engagement saga is that Brad thinks Miss Angelina is “too thin” and wants her to gain weight before the big day.
This comes after the news that Angie doesn’t care much for her engagement ring. According to In Touch Weekly, she has always preferred emeralds to diamonds. Come on Brad, after seven years together, shouldn’t you know this by now?
Speaking of hating your engagement ring, Jessica Biel is none too fond of hers either. Rumor has it that Justin ignored the advice of her very well-informed stylist and designed the ring on his own which, while well intentioned, just wasn’t her style.
Oh to take issue with double digit carat diamonds being presented to you by the world’s most successful and attractive men. Good lord. It does seems silly, but perhaps a bit overboard when the media immediately dubs you an ungrateful bridezilla. So what do we learn from this? It’s simple. Boys need pay attention to what their lady wants – engagement rings are a big deal. And that we here at RingSpotters will always side with the ladies.

Celebrity Engagement: Angelina Jolie
The rumors have been swirling around since 2005, but alas, it is true. Brad and Angelina are engaged, and Brad co-designed the engagement ring with Beverly Hills jeweler Robert Procop. Rumor has it he worked on the multi-stone emerald cut engagement ring in a longer “tablet” shape (a table cut diamond is a predecessor to the emerald and square cut diamond), reportedly worth $250,000, for over a year.
